Frida Berrigan is a columnist for TomDispatch and WagingNonviolence.org. She serves on the War Resisters League board and works with Witness Against Torture. She is the daughter of Plowshares activists Liz McAllister and the late Philip Berrigan, author of “It Runs in the Family: On Being Raised by Radicals and Growing into Rebellious Motherhood.”
