MILITARISM AT HOME AND ABROAD: A Conversation with Josh Ruebner

Josh Ruebner is a Lecturer in Georgetown University’s Program on Justice and Peace and a Faculty Fellow at Georgetown University’s Center for Social Just Research, Teaching & Service, 2026 – 2027.

His PhD dissertation: “A Tragedy of Catastrophic Proportions: The United States and the Palestinian Nakba, 1947 – 1949.”

Josh is currently the Policy Director of the Institute for Middle East Understanding Policy Project, and has previously worked at Americans for Justice in Palestine Action, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, and Congressional Research Service.
