Matthew Duss is Executive Vice-President at the Center for International Policy. He was previously a visiting scholar in the American Statecraft Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
He served as foreign policy advisor to Senator Bernie Sanders (2017-2022), was President of the Foundation for Middle East Peace (2014-2017), and a National Security and International Policy analyst at the Center for American Progress (2008-2014). Matt’s work has been published in, among others, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, The Nation, The American Prospect, and Foreign Policy.
