The US church has been largely silent in supporting their sisters and brothers in Palestine. However, some mainline denominations have groups that advocate solidarity with Palestine. Two of the most active churches are the Presbyterian Church USA and the United Church of Christ. Rev. Sara Ofner-Seals is Co-Chair of the United Church of Christ Movement for Palestinian Solidarity; she traveled with Michael to Palestine last May; and Rev. Marietta Macy is Co-Moderator of the Palestine Justice Network of the PCUSA; she just returned from Palestine.
